Imagine yourself in a ghost town, beside a glacier, surrounded by some of the highest mountain peaks in North America! You could be there, at Kennicott Glacier Lodge, a premier Alaskan wilderness lodge in the heart of America’s largest National Park. Built in 1987, the Kennicott Glacier Lodge is a replica of one of the historic mining buildings from the copper mining boom town days. We are located near the center of the 40 remaining structures in the ghost town of Kennicott, a company town built circa 1910.
