Skyline Lodge was built in the summer of 2001 as the operation base for Kantishna Air Taxi. This solar-powered alternative facility can accommodate a small group of guests as well. Skyline Lodge allows guests the unique opportunity to stay in Denali National Park, while getting a firsthand view of the daily lives of Alaskan Bush pilots. Day hiking in the Kantishna Hills can offer a spectacular view of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range, as the independent traveler explores Kantishna's history, geography, flora and fauna.
