Take a trip to Toledo Bend Lake, located on the eastern edge of Texas (it actually straddles the Texas/Louisiana border). With 1,200 miles of shoreline, the lake is the largest man-made lake in the South. Sam Rayburn Lake is a favorite among anglers because these friendly waters are typically full of largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. Sabine Lake is a scenic saltwater estuary is formed by a confluence of the Neches and Sabine rivers.
