Sleeping Bear Resort is centrally located half way between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (Voted most beautiful place in America by Good Morning America). The resort sits at the base of the Leelanau Peninsula which is home to more than 20 wineries and several quaint Lake Michigan coastal villages. The resort sits on a bluff and occupies 450 feet of frontage overlooking the pristine and undeveloped Herendeene Lake, which is a 40 acre no-wake lake.
