Owners have put a lot of thought and effort into providing you with just about "everything" you could want in your mountain vacation home. Here in this lodge, you will make memories to share for a lifetime. You begin the trip up the private, paved driveway with nature all around you, just waiting to catch that first glimpse of Tanglewood Mountain Lodge. You will pass through the custom-built, nine-foot-tall gate and know you have arrived. Then suddenly there it is. Spectacular! Incredibly well built and situated in an amazing spot to showcase the views for miles around. As you approach the gorgeous, hand carved six-foot front door, unlike any you have seen in the mountains - large and wide pivoting on an axis, your mind will begin to grasp that "This is it! This is where we are spending our vacation! It's all ours for our entire stay!" There is ample flat parking right in front of the Lodge, plenty of room for all your vehicles. Easy access through the large front door with no stairs. Wander through the huge open main floor living area surrounded by a wall of windows to take in the incredible views or head straight to the deck where the views will pull you outside and encourage you to stay there and drink in the unbelievable scenery. The fresh mountain air! The sound of songbirds and leaves rustling in the breeze. Wow! This is one special place ya'll! Everything in the house is brand new. Let's wander into the kitchen. This large, gourmet kitchen will entice you to cook and serve meals to share together. The kitchen cabinets are gorgeous. But wait - there's more! This custom granite kitchen has a commercial refrigerator and two dishwashers - yes TWO! Two stoves and of course two ovens. All stainless steel. All high-end appliances. Seriously - you will love meal prep at this lodge. Two additional drink refrigerators are located at the breakfast bar. Both a Keurig and Coffee Maker for that first cuppa in the morning. Shall we take it out on the deck to enjoy? And that last cuppa in the evening - perhaps gather around the gas firepit for this one? Or maybe we'll take it down by the wood firepit and relax listening to the sounds that only come from real wood burning. The flames, the smell, the memories, you are going to love this vacation. Seating for everyone in the spacious open floor plan with dining areas located adjacent to the kitchen. One beautiful, 12-foot custom made long table and two smaller round tables with a couple of additional seats at the bar provide seating together for all 28. Everyone can gather around and enjoy the company, the views and the food prepared in that fabulous kitchen or hot off the grill located on the main deck. Two story, cathedral ceiling, grand living room with a huge double-sided stone gas fireplace, 65-inch television, and plenty of comfy seating facing the amazing views. What a place to gather and share the moments, or curl up with your favorite book, or send a few emails to your friends back home who will be so very jealous of your cabin! Half bath located on the main floor for your convenience. This large room is a very special focal point in this well designed Lodge. The flooring is beautiful throughout! The furniture well thought out and chosen for beauty and comfort. All the bedrooms have smart flat-screen televisions. All the little details that make a vacation home so memorable are found here at Tanglewood. The main floor also has two special bedrooms. The king bedroom has beautiful hickory furniture with a luxury mattress. You have a door leading out to the deck so you can be the first up to catch the sunrise and the last to bed to watch the moon set – and no one will know. The second cozy bedroom offers a twin over queen bunk made of beautiful aspen with a luxury queen mattress. This is a great bedroom for adults and kids alike. These two bedrooms share a beautiful hall bathroom complete with a tile shower and a hickory vanity with granite countertop. Fabulous! Head downstairs to a master King suite where you can relax and unwind in the luxury cast iron soaker tub for two. Or enjoy a time of refreshment under the rainfall showerhead in the double-headed custom shower. There is also a private sauna in this luxurious master bath to complete your time of relaxation and refreshment. The bedroom is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous hand-stained aspen log bed and luxury bedding with your comfort and a great night's sleep in mind. You will love this private getaway and awake refreshed for whatever the day has to offer. Also, downstairs is another king bedroom with a luxury mattress and an artisan designed hickory bed, beautiful views out its windows and a door out to the deck. This bedroom shares a bathroom with a large bunk room with two triple bunk beds. That is two log bunk beds each with three twin bunks to sleep six people. The upstairs king master suite has a fabulous jacuzzi tub, situated in its own private alcove with beautiful wrap around windows which showcase the amazing view. Absolutely spectacular! Can you picture yourself bathing and gazing and relaxing in total privacy in your very, very spacious boudoir? Double headed shower and separate tub in the bathroom. Full-size walk-in closet. Gas fireplace and private balcony. This suite is designed to relax and enjoy your spacious privacy surrounded by luxury and views. There is also a separate sitting area with sleeper sofa for extra sleeping and relaxing and taking in the views. Also, on the top floor are two more luxury bedrooms that share a beautiful bathroom. This king bedroom features custom cedar furniture and your own private balcony facing the incredible view. Oh what a place to spend the nights resting and relaxing for the coming day and all its activities. The adjacent room offers a twin over queen bunk with the custom aspen furniture. Total of eight bedrooms: Two Master King suites, three King bedrooms, two twins over queen bunk rooms, and one room with two sets of triple bunks. Three shared hall bathrooms and three sleeper sofas. All the bedrooms have Smart Flat Screen televisions. Upstairs in the wonderful, open loft area is a quiet space set up for reading or relaxing with the children sleeping peacefully nearby. The main floor deck is home for the enormous swim spa - year-round swimming pool right outside your door. It is also a huge, luxurious hot tub. And, of course, you can lock it so the little ones can't get in without you. Also, the staircase to get up into it can be rolled away from the spa - another level of protection. We all want your kids safe and enjoying the spa with parents to supervise.This luxury spa has many features. You can be the early bird and enjoy doing your laps in privacy before the day begins or take the kids for a group swim and enjoy the lazy river setting and LED light show. You might want to just relax with friends in the bubbling, warm water. This pool offers something for everyone - year round. You are in control of the water temperature. Some like it hot - some don't! It's your choice. The hot tub is the pool. The pool becomes your hot tub. A very large, wonderful hot tub with plenty of seating. You simply change the settings and your private pool becomes a large private hot tub under the stars and the beautiful mountain sky. Enjoy the bubbles, the jets, the hot water and the total luxury of this incredible hot tub on your private deck in the middle of 21 private acres with the Great Smoky Mountains off in the distance. The stairs can easily be pushed away to keep the children safe and there is a lock on the spa itself. Your group can enjoy the entire property and all the amenities without worrying about the children and the pool. Beside this luxurious pool/hot tub is the beautiful gas firepit, with string lights overhead, several dining tables are close by and just around the corner is the gas grill. What a party area - with overhead lighting to enjoy the evening hours or way into the early morning hours. It's your party after all. Rockers will provide comfy seating, and you can decide whether to serve the cold drinks or start the coffee and just relax around the roaring fire. Lower level houses the theater room which seats 12 in comfy, leather, fully reclining chairs and a few extras in the gaming chairs. Beautiful, private theater with a huge 10-inch screen, incredible surround sound, and smart HD projector so you will also have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon access and satellite as well. Xbox provided. Bring your games and hook up to play it on the huge screen. Bring your favorite movies for the grown-ups and the kids. This will be a special "movie night" kind of place. The arcade room is incredible. Both the young and old will find hours of exciting fun right here on the lower level of your vacation lodge. The Big Buck Hunter HD is a family favorite with its massive 50-inch screen and incredible graphics. Hoisting colored shotguns and being awarded points for accuracy and placements in a round robin style with friends is great fun. In the same room is the beautiful 8 foot, slate pool table which will provide you with hours of competition and fun.
