As the unofficial gateway to Katmai National Park, Alaska’s Gold Creek Lodge is approximately 280 miles from Anchorage and nestled snugly within the Bristol Bay watershed. Perched on the banks of the world-famous Naknek River in beautiful King Salmon, an all-inclusive experience begins with first-class accommodations. With only 12 to 14 guests at any one time, you know you’ll be getting their utmost attention. A diverse array of fish are possible to catch here, including walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, whitefish, perch, and muskie. Perrault Lake is quite sizable after all, with over 50 miles of shoreline an additional 67 miles of shoreline on connected Cedar Lake. Simply ask and the friendly and knowledgeable staff will advise you of the current hot spots, plus what lures and rigging you should be using. To keep its waters productive for years to come, the lodge encourages "catch and release" of the larger spawning fish, so that future generations can enjoy the same fun that current guests do.
