Paradise Guest Ranch has a rich history that dates back to the late 1890s! The original log cabin was built around that time by Mr. Norman Meldrum when he drove his herd of cattle from Colorado to Buffalo, Wyoming, and bought some land here. He liked the mountainside meadow so much that he built the log cabin there, which still remains there today. Meldrum's son, Gordon, later return from war in the Philippines and set up a practice at the cabin. Friends who visited him there called the meadow "paradise," which inspired the name of the ranch!
