A Scenic Lake Erie Island Vacation
Put-in-Bay, also known as South Bass Island has been called the Key West of the North. It is an island located in the western basin of Lake Erie and is reached by ferry from Port Clinton, Catawba, or Sandusky. You can bring a car although the taxi service and golf cart rentals are a great way to get around. Put-in-Bay is definitely a fun loving place. The summer weekends are noted for the many taverns and nightlife, however during the weekdays and off season, it's a great place to relax with family and friends.
