One of the best-kept secrets in the Rendezvous Region is the Pembina Gorge. This 12,500-acre area boasts over 21 different types of animals and 30 plant species, eight of which are indigenous to the Pembina Gorge. The Gorge offers hunting, fishing, hiking and bird watching in the spring, summer and fall and down hill skiing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter.
