The Hideaway at Xanadu Island is located near Battle Lake, Minnesota on the shores of Elbow Lake. Families and lovers alike enjoy this secluded 1920's-era five-acre island estate. Xanadu is a spacious lodge style bed and breakfast, which features massive stone fireplaces and five individual bed and breakfast rooms. Nestled among the oaks and maples on the island are three cottages which were originally servants quarters. They are now available as a mini resort for that special Minnesota lakes family vacation.

Besides being in "Lakes Country," Xanadu Island Bed & Breakfast and Resort can also lay claim to being in "golf country." There is definitely no shortage of courses, with 18 golf courses throughout the area. The regulars say these area courses are better than most they play, which is a fine tribute to golf in Western Minnesota. test
While pets are not permitted to stay in the B&B, they are allowed in Xanadu's cottages. All the resort asks is that your pet remains on its best behavior and not bother other guests. Located in the main lodge of Xanadu are five unique bed and breakfast rooms, each boasting a private, newly remodeled bathroom and either a Jacuzzi-jetted tub for two or a fireplace. To cap it all off, these rooms also feature a picturesque view of Elbow Lake. The three updated cottages on the premises originally derived from the original servants quarters.
