The Last Resort Lodge sits on the banks of the Little Salmon River. We have 3 guest rooms with individual bathrooms and in-room T.V.'s. Each room has its own decorative theme - the Fish room, the Big Game room and the White water room. There is also another overflow bedroom without it's own bathroom that we call the Upland game room. All rooms but the white water room have taxidermy displays. A leisurely stroll from the back deck and you can be casting your fly for a feisty rainbow trout. 25 miles as the crow flies, puts you in either the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area or the Idaho Primitive Area. It takes time to get this far back in the Nez Perce National forest but it is a pretty trip any time of the year. All green with tall forest trees and meadows in summer and white snow all winter long. Take a hike into a lake and spend the afternoon fishing. Some lakes you can drive to and others take 1 to 8 mile hikes. Most have been stocked with trout.
