Marten River Lodge is the perfect place for families who love to fish. But even when you’re not fishing, there’s plenty here for everyone. Amphibious Argo adventures are great for kids! Take out a kayak or a beach toy from the sandy beach; you can also play basketball, tennis, horseshoes & more right on the resort grounds.

Fishing

Located along four lakes including Big Marten and Little Marten as well as Bruce Lake and Mcfee Lake, Marten River Lodge offers guides and everything you need for successful days of fishing. Or, choose a back lake adventure with easy access for pickerel or very limited and remote access lakes for trophy northern pike.

Hunting

Marten Lodge reserves about two weeks each year for exclusive black bear hunting excursions. This rare and rewarding package includes non-resident licenses, accommodations, meals, and guided hunting over baited tree stands for bow and shotgun hunting.

Lake

The Marten River system, part of the Nipissing Crown Game preserve, opens onto 24 km of diverse waterways. Or, choose back lakes – the remote Slash Lake, teeming with trophy pike; Chico Lake, with plentiful smallmouth bass; and the gorgeous Lawry Lake with bass, pike and pickerel. With a new, updated fleet of Starcraft fishing boats and motors plus bait, fish finders, live wells, maps, guides & more, Marten River Lodge provides everything you need for a great fishing excursion.
