You will be holding your breath as you peer over the railing 876 feet to the river below on the only day it is legal to walk over the New River Gorge Bridge--North America's longest arch bridge--as well as the only day that it is legal to BASE jump in the eastern United States!
Enjoy breathtaking peak Appalachian fall foliage and experience amazing food, vendors and excitement as 400 BASE jumpers and 22 teams of rapllers dare to parachute, rappel, bungee and launch themselves 876 feet above the whitewater of the New River, the oldest river in North America and the second-oldest in the world.
The "Down Under Tour" Package allows you to ride with us into the Gorge to view the jumpers and rapellers from the bottom of the New River Gorge. It is an experience that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime!
The Bridge Day "Down Under Tour" Package includes:
