In addition to the best wingshooting and fly flishing in the West, Castle Valley Outdoors is situated near some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet. Within an hour or two of the ranch, you can see any of a number of national parks including Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon, The San Rafael Swell, Zion's National Park, and Goblin Valley - each one known for its unique beauty and natural rock formations or canyons.
For those who like to get closer to nature, ATV tours can be arranged to see some of the beautiful castle rock formations associated with The San Rafael Swell where layers of sandstone can be seen for miles on end.
The Fremont and Ute people were in the area of Castle Valley long before white settlers arrived in the region. Arrowheads and shards have been found throughout the Valley.
In contrast, a ride through lush pine and aspen forests is only a short distance up on top of the Fairview mountain range where the air is crisp and clean, and bald eagles are known to soar high above the terrain.
You may even spot a heard of Elk or Mule deer grazing on the hillside in their natural habitat. Either way, this is nature at its best and it is all available upon your request through Castle Valley Outdoors.
