Welcome to Olive the Lake, a family owned and operated fishing lodge in Marten River, Ontario, Canada. We are a young and inspired family eager to make your stay a memorable one. This is our dream and we want to share it with you. In 2007, we took a great leap of faith and moved from the middle of the city to the middle of the forest, and instantly felt like we were home. Since then, we have worked very hard to create a place that feels like home to you as well but on the lake. Enjoy the lake in your front yard, catch some great fish, and sleep in a really comfy Tempur-Pedic bed. Say Hi to old friends and make new memories. Support small family businesses in the north.
Olive the Lake is located on a PRIVATE ACCESS LAKE in the Near North approximately 45 minutes North from North Bay, Ontario and 25 minutes South from Temagami, Ontario. The Temagami wilderness trails and canoe/kayakroutes are some of the finest in Northern Ontario cottage country all lake and trails are within 10 kilometers of Olive the Lake.
