This 3-night/4-day all inclusive package for 2 includes a 6-hour whale and bear watching boat tour, a guided nature day hike into Strathcona Park as well as all gourmet meals during your stay and enough time to relax in our spa between adventures.
You will arrive in the afternoon, meet your hosts Martina and Max, settle into your cozy ocean view room and enjoy a 3-course dinner with a view of the mountains across Georgia Strait. After a good night's rest, sit down with us for a nutritious breakfast before we take you on a 45 min scenic drive to Campbell River where you will meet your skipper and wildlife guide who will the take you on a 6-hour boat tour through fjords, between islands and through some of the fastest currents in the world to look for orcas, humpback whales and other marine life. You will also scour beaches from the boat in pursuit of black bears and coastal wolves.
Back at the Lodge, soak in the hot tub and steam room. Sit in front of the fireplace and share your day's adventure with fellow guests over a glass of wine before dinner awaits you.
After breakfast the next morning, you will meet you hiking guide, grab your packed lunch and set out into Strathcona Park right from the Lodge. Your guide will teach you about the local flora and fauna. From your lunch spot up in the mountains you will enjoy a fantastic view of the mainland and Georgia Strait.
Back at the Lodge, it's time to clean up and relax tired muscles in the hot tub and steam room before dinner is served. Enjoy a drink in front of the fireplace and share your stories and the day's pictures with your fellow guests and friends.
After breakfast the next day, explore the Forbidden Plateau area just outside our door step or go for a refreshing dip in nearby Nymph Falls.
