A Hops-Infused Summer Celebration in The Land of 10,000 Lakes

St. Paul is the second largest city in Minnesota with more than 300,000 residents, and it’s the perfect destination for your next big getaway. The city features beautiful parks, close proximity to numerous lakes, large community events, diverse restaurants, and more. Whether you're sampling craft beers at the Downtown brewpubs or seeing the latest Broadway musical at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, St. Paul has something for you.

The St. Paul Summer Beer Fest has gained a dedicated following since its inception nearly ten years ago, and will take place June 10 at the International Bazaar of the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The event will feature more than 100 of the top breweries in the country including local favorites Summit Brewing Company, Lift Bridge Brewing Company, and Surly Brewing Company. Attendees will also find a selection of great food vendors from the nationally recognized NATEDOGS to local favorite Tot Boss. Great music acts such as Mark Joseph and the American Soul will play music throughout the event, and various industry insiders will hold beer seminars. Paid entry also includes a souvenir tasting glass and the opportunity to cast a vote for the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest People's Choice Award. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to YMCA Midway, which provides recreational services and programs for all ages. We got the chance to interview Mark Opdahl, a representative of the event, to learn more about this Midwest beer extravaganza.
