Head to the mountain town of Flagstaff for a wonderful alpine adventure. The Petrified Forest is a glimpse into the truly ancient past of the state, and of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to the Grand Canyon State without heading to the namesake of this nickname: the Grand Canyon. Monument Valley, in its stunning array of colors and vistas, is also a must-see for anyone interested in the American West.

Cultural celebrations in Arizona are always lively and colorful, and if you’ve got the opportunity to attend, should not be missed.
