This beautiful and secluded resort is a perfect place for clear and concise thinking. Just 90 minutes from Toronto, it offers a remote setting just far enough away from the city while also providing the framework to host efficient meetings. Featuring 46 rooms and suites for up to 75 people, there is enough room to host even the largest of groups. On top of that, many of them surround the Main Lodge and have a view of the waterfront creating a stress-free environment and a sense of tranquility. And when the work is done, a multitude of activities await. There is no doubt Deerhurst takes hosting meetings and conferences seriously. The resort is currently going through a renovation for updates to their current layout. Fortunately, the first of round of the four years $1.5 million dollar renovation is complete with a newly remodeled Pavillion west conference wing. As a whole, the redesigned space totals 6,587 square feet and features the large Tom Thomson room surrounded by four breakout rooms. The renovation is just the tip of the iceberg, with the resort currently boasting the lakeside Sunset Bay and the Legacy Hall -- which features a full stage! Beyond having unparalleled meeting space, the dining experience is one you won't soon forget. The various restaurants, including a steakhouse and pub, are committed to keeping the food local, as they are growing some of it right at the resort!

It has over 14,000 square feet of lakeside conference space including eight rooms and free wireless internet. Fern can comfortably host a group of 10 people all the way up to 300. Packages contain setups for day meetings with the appropriate equipment packed into the natural lit rooms, dinner meetings in dining rooms, and scheduled team activities featuring paintball and an amazing race to name a few. Directions from Toronto area: take Highway 400 North to Highway 11 North (just north of Barrie), to Highway 12 South (at Orillia), to Rama Road. Left at Rama Road (you’ll see the Casino Rama signs). Before you reach the casino, turn left onto Fern Resort Road at the sign.
