Make a trip to this lodge that emphasizes personal attention. Hosting between 16 and 20 guests a week, Gold Creek wants to make sure everyone is comfortable to create a stress-free environment at their all-inclusive resort. The resort is also in a pristine location. Alaska's Katmai National Park and Bristol Bay are accessible by a short float plane ride where you can catch up to 30 fish a day! The park also features Brooks Falls -- a bucket list location for many. Following an orientation at the Brooks Camp, you will get up close and personal with the Coastal Brown Bears as they fish for salmon. For those wanting a more private escape, take a kayak on one of the many floating trip options where you can maneuver gentle current flows with a few rapids thrown in the mix and view the beautiful scenery and wildlife.

Anchor Point was named in 1778 after Captain James Cook sailed through it attempting to find a northwest passage. He dropped an anchor trying to fight the current but it proved to be too strong snapping the line and sending the anchor to the bottom of the inlet where it remains today.
