While this coastal Maine inn is already decorated in authentic New England style, we’d like to pin a few more stars – four, to be precise – to its metaphorical chest. Admiral Inn Resort’s all-new amenities, including two heated pools and two hot tubs, could easily take all four. The extensive treatment menu – Swedish and deep tissue massages, hydrating facials and aromatherapy cocoons, to name a few – offered by its day spa, Body Mechanix, could easily merit the addition of even more stars. But we’d rather save them all for the inn’s crowning glory: it’s designation as Ogunquit’s only true full-service resort and inn! While it certainly wouldn’t be as prestigious, perhaps a three-star salute would be more fitting for this coastal Maine accommodation.
