Inspired by inns found in the small mountain towns of Europe, the Johnstones have developed a hospitable property with a European flair. Featuring 22 guest rooms, five creek-side cottages, and gas fireplaces, you'll feel like you're in old Scandinavia! A highlight of the lodge is its onsite spa and traditional Finnish sauna. You're going to see a lot of antlers around Jackson Hole; they've become something of an unofficial mascot of the valley. And The Antler Inn, taking its name from the boney material itself, is no exception. With its rustic charm, you're sure to see a few elk antlers around the property - and maybe some actual elk too!

Part of the larger Town Square Inns of Jackson Hole, The Antler Inn claims to be the best located inn in Jackson Hole, located only one block from the famous Jackson Town Square. Mosey on down to the square to see the famous Antler Arches of Jackson. Gracing the four corners of the square since the 1960s, they are a popular tourist hangout. The square is also home to the annual ElkFest and Antler Auction held every Memorial Day weekend. Collected from the nearby National Elk Refuge after the elk have shed their annual antler growth, artisans from around the country come to craft the antlers into everything from chandeliers to belt buckles. The antlers from the auction are also used to annually replenish and the restore the arches. Rather see the real thing? Visit the National Elk Refuge for yourself. One of 553 National Wildlife Refuges in the U.S., the refuge works to preserve the winter habitat of Jackson's large elk population.

Fun facts

Antlers are solid and fall off naturally compared to horns which are hollow and must be sawed off.

Dates and Prices

Put your wallet away! Entrance to the auction and square itself is free.
