An unforgettable golf vacation comes naturally at Hawaii’s Kauai Lagoons. Considered one of Jack Nicklaus’s best designed courses it features rugged mountain landscapes neat the Pacific Ocean. Take a step away from the luau and into 36 scenic holes of golf.

The Kiele course weaves you along rocky ocean cliffs and through freshwater lagoons – it’s a great course to play it safe. If you’re a golfer, you’ve heard of the wonderful championship courses in Pebble Beach, California. After a little thought we’ve decided that Spyglass Hill is Pebble Beach’s finest public golf course – it was easy considering the challenging design and gorgeous scenery.

Spyglass Hill Golf Course takes its name from the classic novel “Treasure Island” published in 1863. The Treasure Island theme continues throughout the golf course with holes named “Black Dog” and “Billy Bones.” The course opened in 1966 and amazed golfers with a variety of holes and difficult terrain. The first five holes take you down to the seaside dunes – you’ll have to carefully position your shots. The next 13 holes challenge you with strategically placed bunkers, elevated greens and large lakes that reach out and grab your golf balls - and don’t let the pirates off the shore distract you. With three nearby resorts you’re bound to find the perfect room for your golf getaway. The Lodge at Pebble Beach is one mile from Spyglass Hill and brings you an enchanting atmosphere with stately architecture. The Inn at Spanish Bay sits in between the Del Monte Forest and the Pacific Ocean – here you’ll find complete relaxation. Your final choice is the Mediterranean-style Casa Palmero.

Spyglass Hill Golf Course is an annual co-host to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

California offers a number of spectacular golf layouts designed to challenge your game while offering picturesque views throughout your round. One of Southern California's most challenging golf courses, Pala Mesa Resort Golf Course offers a top flight experience for your next West Coast golf getaway!

Although the distance of the course (6,502 yards from the tips) may not be enough to scare you off the tee, it's the subtleties of this course that truly make it one of the top West Coast Golf Vacation destinations. The beautifully manicured course is accented with magnificent oaks, sycamores, and elms. These towering limbs put a premium on shot-making if you want to score low. Trees are not the only natural object creating a breathtaking landscape during your round. Cascading mountain peaks provide a beautiful backdrop and there are plenty of challenges at every turn. The tree-lined fairways will narrow your field of view on the front nine, putting a premium on keeping your tee shot in play. You'll also notice some dramatic changes in elevations, which may change a club choice or two. The back nine features visually wider fairways and a gentler landscape, allowing you to boost your score as you roll in birdie after birdie (hopefully). When you're not enjoying this picture perfect golf course, you'll delight in the comfort and space offered by your accommodations. Standard and deluxe rooms dot the fairways of the golf course and offer amenities including cable television with on demand movies, refrigerators, and pillow top mattresses with splendid duvet covers and throw pillows.

At the North Course you’ll use all the irons in your bag to reach the green – just because it’s shorter doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy. The South course is longer and you’d better not slice your shot; the long, narrow fairways require straight shots and long distances. To complete your California golf vacation the full-service clubhouse offers everything you need to step-up your game. The remarkable scenery follows you to your spacious room at the lodge.
