Hotels in St. George Utah

“This is not your ordinary Best Western. The “Plus” in the title is accurate. I chose this on my cross-country hike from the reviews and was not disappointed.

I know how this sounds but there is something almost odd about how nice and well-managed this place is. They certainly take ‘hospitality’ seriously. I checked in at about 11 PM totally drained from trying to drive across Colorado with I-70 being shut and having to drive 3 hours on ridiculous “roads” across the continental divide and there were 2 clerks – not the typical 1 – happy to see me. The hallways and staircases are especially wide and well-lit – not something I would usually even notice. Same with the elevator. The room was especially large and immaculate with a separate sink and coffee area outside of the bathroom which was similarly extra large. The HVAC was ‘through the wall’ but reasonably quiet and controlled by a wall thermostat. Large desk and a real nice looking reclining chair which I didn’t test due to being exhausted. Same with the large flat-screen TV but that is all standard equipment now.

Slept great. At my previous way-point heading west, I stayed at a La Quinta which was lovely but handed out a bagged breakfast which, while understandable, was barely adequate. Not here. Several real friendly hosts in the LARGE breakfast room were eager to cook eggs to order with yogurts and add-ins (raisins, etc.) and several coffees all done with proper COVID precautions including “one-way” routing through the room.

If you can stay here at similar cost to other venues, you won’t be disappointed. It really is a “cut above”.

Kudos to management who obviously take their jobs seriously in providing a “PLUS” experience from check-in to check-out. I can’t imagine how hard you are working during these extraordinary times but I assure you your efforts come through in the product you are providing. It meant a lot to this traveler.”
