Welcome to Silvery Moon Lodge

Silvery Moon Lodge is situated on the scenic South Shore of Trout Lake and offers a relaxed, quiet getaway, for families, nature lovers and those that like to fish.

Trout Lake is 15 miles long, has 45 miles of beautiful shoreline, is well marked for shoals and has numerous islands and bays to fish, explore, have a shore lunch or pick blueberries. Seldom does the lake get too rough to fish.

Our Accomodations

Nestled among the majestic northern pines are our 7 log cabins that blend well into the wilderness which surrounds us. We have 2 & 3 bedroom cabins, all facing beautiful Trout Lake with boat docking right out front. Each cabin is clean and comfortable complete with screened-in porches and outdoor sundecks. Enjoy your beautiful view with your morning coffee or evening BBQ. Sleep to the lonely cry of the loon and wake refreshed to the birds chirping happily. There is no traffic noise at Silvery Moon, only the beautiful surroundings of nature’s finest.

Unbelievable Fishing

For those that like to fish, a good variety of fish species are found in Trout Lake, including: Northern Pike, Pickerel ( Walleye), Large and Small Mouth Bass, Muskie and Lake Trout. Children’s favorite panfish can be had from shore ensuring a happy and exciting day for everyone.

For The Nature Lovers Among Us

Hike down the trails and old logging roads to see old growth forests, wildlife and a vast array of birds. For those that love to be on the water, spend an afternoon canoeing or kayaking along the picturesque shores. Animals you might see during your adventures include: moose, elk, deer, bears, partridge, wild turkeys, eagles, cranes, osprey, hawks, loons, otters, beavers, mink, flying squirrels, chipmunks and numerous types of ducks. Make sure to keep your camera close!

Leisure Activities

Badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, boating, paddleboat, swimming, canoe, kayak, socialize or just lounge with a good book and watch your stress melt away.
