The Lodge of Four Seasons is Your Midwest Golf Getaway

You step out your front door and onto one of three award-winning golf courses. Waterfront holes, rolling fairways, and sand bunker-guarded greens await on this links trio, designed by golf giants Jack Nicklaus, Ken Kavanaugh, and Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

You must be in Florida. Nope. California? Not even close. You’re at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri, where frequenters of the fairway are treated to 54 exemplary holes of golf. Swing away on three distinct championship golf courses, all of which feature their own unique architecture.

“The Lodge has three of the best courses in Missouri and they each have their own character,” Tournament Coordinator Chris Lash said. “All three are fun and challenging but in their own way.”

There’s no better way to start your golf getaway than on the tee box of The Cove, the Lodge’s signature course. This Robert Trent Jones, Sr. masterpiece showcases rolling greens, 65 bunkers, and panoramic views of roaming hills. At 6,557 yards, this par 71 requires both power and precision. And, though the challenging setup may be hard on your nerves, the breathtaking Lake of the Ozarks views are easy on the eyes.

Speaking of the Lake, the private Club at Porto Cima rests on the Shawnee Bend peninsula of this majestic body of water, making it the only 18-hole, waterfront Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in Missouri. With undulating fairways, tree-lined fairways, and breathtaking lake views, it comes as no surprise that Golf Digest ranked it number four on its “Best New Private Golf Courses in America” list.

Equally award-worthy, the Ken Kavanaugh-designed Ridge Course was ranked by Golf Digest as a four-star course for “Places to Play.” Your playing experience is enhanced by altitude drops, generous landing areas, and wildflower-dotted holes. This unique layout translates to a 6,447-yard, par 72 course that’s fun for all ability levels.

This collection of championship courses has won over PGA Director of Golf Matt Tausig, who said, “I grew up playing at some of the best golf courses in Southern California and I can honestly say I never had an experience like The Lodge of Four Seasons offers. You get first-class golf and first-class service, all in the middle of the Midwest.”

And when you’re not on the course, experience the first-class service at Spa Shiki, a 15,000-square-foot rejuvenation center. Following an Asian theme, this spa creates an unparalleled experience with massages, body treatments, facials, and salon services. With so many options, it’s no wonder Spa Shiki was named “The Best Spa for Groups in the Midwest” by the readers of Meetings Mid-America Magazine in 2006.

Featuring three unique, award-winning golf courses and a soothing spa, The Lodge of Four Seasons is your Midwest golf getaway.
