Boys Cowboy Camp at Rancho Cortez

Cowboy Camp at Rancho Cortez is a summer camp of a different breed with lots of fun-filled adventure. Our campers spend their time experiencing the challenges and responsibilities of loving, riding, and taking care of horses, longhorns, and other ranch livestock.

If you want the young man in your life to experience the life of a cowboy, this is the camp for him. Our young cowboys not only brush up on their riding and roping skills, they also take care of the livestock, spend one night camping under the Texas stars, and develop friendships that last a lifetime. If your young man wants to "rough" it, and also wants to participate in a real Texas rodeo, give us a holler!

 Please have your child bring the following items to camp:

• Enough clothes for a full week, including:
  • blue jeans
  • long-sleeved shirts
  • boots
  • tennis shoes and/or hiking shoes
  • swimming suit
  • beach towel
• Sunscreen
• Flashlight
• Sleeping Bag
• Hat
• Refillable Water Bottle

Terms and Conditions

Campers will need to bring cash for the day to town for ice cream and any souvenirs. Additional spending money is not necessary, although we do have a gift store. Drinks and snacks will be provided at the ranch. Please call ahead to let us know what time you will be dropping off and picking up your child. We are very flexible because we understand parents' work schedules. Accommodations at the ranch are available to rent for parents, grandparents and siblings.
