Girls Horse Camp at Rancho Cortez

Horse Camp at Rancho Cortez is a summer camp of a different breed with lots of fun-filled adventure. Our campers spend their time experiencing the challenges and responsibilities of loving, riding, and taking care of horses.

Whether you come to the ranch as a novice or as an experienced rider, you will leave with more confidence and new equestrian skills. We intentionally keep our Camp groups small and limited to ages 8 through 16. We want all of our campers to leave the ranch with lots of smiles, a memorable summer, and horsemanship skills to last a lifetime.

Please have your child bring the following items to camp:

• Enough clothes for a full week, including:
  • blue jeans
  • long-sleeved shirts
  • boots
  • tennis shoes and/or hiking shoes
  • swimming suit
  • beach towel
• Sunscreen
• Flashlight
• Sleeping Bag
• Hat
• Refillable Water Bottle

Terms and Conditions

Campers will need to bring cash for the day to town for ice cream and any souvenirs. They will also need $6.00 for the gate fee to the rodeo. Campers' rodeo participation entry fee will be paid for by Rancho Cortez. Additional spending money is not necessary, although we do have a gift store. Drinks and snacks will be provided at the ranch. Please call ahead to let us know what time you will be dropping off and picking up your child. We are very flexible because we understand parents' work schedules. Accommodations at the ranch are available to rent for parents, grandparents and siblings.
