Pack up the family and head to Gettysburg! Check into your private lodge with living room, sofa, desk, kitchenette, electric fireplace, flat screen televisions and wi-fi services. Your private bedroom has two queen beds with upscale linens and down bedding. Enjoy our 35 acres of hiking trails or fish for bass in our three acre lake. Begin your excursion at the Gettysburg Museum & Visitor Center where you will enjoy viewing “The Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama Painting” and presentation of the Gettysburg Film, “A New Birth of Freedom.” Narrated by Morgan Freeman, and featuring the voices of Sam Waterston and Marcia Gay Harden, this film places the monumental events of the Battle of Gettysburg into the larger context of American history. You will also tour the American Civil War Wax Museum where the kids will enjoy their choice of a Kepi, Wooden Fife or Harmonica to enjoy while on the battlefield or back at the lodge. Your package also includes a Gettysburg Field Guide so that you can leisurely tour the battlefields during your three day stay. We have chosen two great restaurants to provide you with quality food and outstanding service. Your package includes a $50 credit to the Carriage House Inn and a $25 credit to McClellan’s Tavern located in downtown Gettysburg. Continental breakfast for four each morning, consisting of pastries, bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee in our main lodge.
Package prices starting at: $475 per family (2 adults & 2 children ages 2-12). Your lodge can accommodate up to 6 people, add $31 per person for additional guests over 4. Package pricing will vary based on the time of the year.
