Wreath Making Weekend at Gunflint Lodge

This is a weekend in the woods that you can enjoy doing several things!

First, you can join the weekend group and go out and cut some fresh balsam boughs to use in making one or more wreaths to take home. The staff will show you how to use the wreath making machine, with several size wreaths to choose from.

Secondly, they will be finishing up decorating the lodge for the winter and you are invited to help with that project if you are interested. They hand garlands, put out their Santa collection, and decorate two Christmas trees.

And thirdly, you can spread some corn on the ground in front of your cabin picture window to feed the deer, or you can enjoy some of their many hiking trails laced through the back basin behind the lodge.

This package includes all your meals - with lots of breakfast choices from a complete menu (breakfast service is from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), and then the Bistro menu runs from 11:31 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition 7 full entree dinners are offered from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each evening.
