The staff at Gunflint Lodge will be cranking up their big smoker for the weekend! You're invited to look over their shoulder and learn some of the tricks of the trade.
They'll smoke you a beautiful 15-pound whole turkey or a big bone-in ham for you to take back home for one of your upcoming holiday dinners. You'll be able to “wow" your friends with a turkey or ham far tastier than they've ever had. The staff does all their smoking with hickory logs brought in from Missouri.
Recreation in the woods this weekend will vary depending on the weather. Hiking at the beginning of snow season is a possibility. And it's a great time to see moose as they move to the highlands for the winter.
This package includes: two nights accommodations, all meals (including some other smoked foods that they'll run through the smokers while we have them up), and your turkey or ham to take home.
