Free Horseback Riding Package at Gunflint Lodge

If you love horses and love the north woods, this package is for you

Gunflint Lodge has miles and miles of amazing riding trails taking you through the back basin, up on the ridges overlooking Gunflint Lake and down into thick cedar stands.

The horses will be just as ready as you are to get up and go. They've got a stable of well-trained horses for every ability level.  Experienced wranglers will know just where to lead you on your adventures on the trails.

The woods come alive in the fall with the songs and calls of the many bird species that pass through on their way south. You may see deer, fox, moose and other local critters, too.

Back at the lodge you'll have a beautiful lakeside or lake view cabin to enjoy during your stay. All your meals are provided while you're here, including gourmet dinners. Then you can unwind and relax in front of your cozy fireplace at night.

You're also welcome to join any of the naturalist activities offered at Gunflint Lodge, as well as paddle out on the lake in a canoe if you're getting a little saddle sore.

Sales Tax and Service Charge are additional Riders must be 7 years of age or older. Riders younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Each horse can only carry one rider at a time. Maximum weight of 240 lbs. for each rider.
