Join Natural Retreats and Garden & Gun for a Ladies' Fly Fishing Academy at the legendary South Fork Lodge in Swan Valley, Idaho from September 29th - October 4th, 2016.
Prepare for an unforgettable fly fishing experience at South Fork Lodge ! The South Fork is one of the country’s finest dry fly fisheries and is home to an immense population of Yellowstone cutthroat trout. You’ll spend your days with expert fishing professionals who will help you improve your skills and hopefully reel in the fish of a lifetime.
In between sessions on the water, guests will have the opportunity to observe expert fly tiers, explore the hiking trails of Teton National Park and take a casting lesson with Lori Ann Murphy, the first woman to be named an Orvis-endorsed fly fishing guide. In the dining room, guests will enjoy specialty local liquor tastings, as well as wine pairings by Axel Schug of Schug Winery and Dennis Cakebread of Cakebread Cellars.
Meals will be provided, including gourmet dinners prepared by South Fork Lodge Executive Chef, Casey O’Brian, and renowned Louisville, KY chef, Annie Pettry. Afternoon hors d’oeuvres will be served over talks with distinguished artist and angler, Jeff Currier, as well as author and renowned Jackson fly fishing guide Boots Allen.
The South Fork Lodge will provide a comfortable base for you in the evenings, offering Lodge Suites andDeluxe Suites that can each accommodate up to 2 guests. We encourage you to bring a friend to share in the experience and the lodging; alternatively, we may pair you with a fellow participant to maximize accommodation space. Additional fees will apply for single occupancy and for guests not participating in the Ladies' Fly Fishing Academy.
The all-inclusive Field Package also includes airport transfers from Jackson or Idaho Falls, as well as all food & beverages at South Fork Lodge.
