Winter Sports Conditioning Weekends At Vail Mountain Lodge And Vail Vitality Center.

You’ve got your ski pass, ski equipment and the excitement for the ski season! Now is the perfect time to condition your body for fantastic powder days soon to come.

At the Vail Vitality Center, we’ve created a specific package for skiers, snowboarders or anyone who participates in winter sports! We want you to be ready for those winter activities, have the most fun possible and want an injury free winter season.

We are willing to share the local secrets with you, so your winter ski season is the best yet.

Weekend Warriors is an Injury Prevention focused ski and snowboard program created for visitors. We will share ski season prep secrets for the 2016-2017 winter ski and snowboard season.

Our program is designed to pinpoint and strengthen weak movement patterns. Most people jump into programs without knowing how the body moves. Over training or training incorrectly can lead to injuries down the line.

We will teach you how to train most efficiently, what is the best fuel for your body and how to get the most out of every day you spend on Vail Mountain this winter!

This educational weekend provides you with a program to follow when you return home, and also includes nutritional education to help you get the most our of your pre-season conditioning.

Not only will you stay in a luxury hotel in Vail, Colorado and dine at one of Vail’s top farm-to-table restaurants, you’ll also complete a ski and snowboard conditioning program in time for winter. We will focus on everything you can do to stay injury-free this winter.

What does the Snow Sports Conditioning & Injury Prevention Weekend include:

• Lodging for 3 nights for 2 people. Thursday through-Sunday, staying at Vail Mountain Lodge.
• 2 Functional Movement Screens, 1 for each person. Done for individual results.
• 3 personal coaching sessions- 1 coaching session each day for the two people. Sessions will be together but tailored each individual.
• Take home workout program and basic nutritional program for each person, based on individual needs.

Also, includes The Recovery Package:

• Two 50-minute magnesium wellness massages.
• Two Magnesium wellness gift bags which include: Magnesium Bath Salts & Magnesium Gel, perfect for sore muscles.

Individual Pricing:

• Functional Movement Screen.

The Schedule: 

Arrive on Thursday: get settled at Vail Mountain Lodge.
Day 1: Functional Movement Screen and general conditioning testing, general strength training.
Day 2: Strength and plyometrics. Option for a magnesium wellness massage.
Day 3: Power and plyometrics. Option for a magnesium wellness massage.

You will receive take home workout program and nutritional information.
