SUNDAY Arrive at Glacier House Resort. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner in the Gallery Bar and Restaurant.
MONDAY Frisby Ridge. After breakfast we start this trip with a briefing and provide you with your gear. We explore the trails along Lake Revelstoke, where we are rewarded with great views of the Selkirk Mountains. After lunch we head into the alpine for an introduction to mountain riding in the steeper hills and deeper snow. We return to Glacier House Resort approximately 4pm, where the hot tub, pool, and the Gallery Restaurant and Bar await us.
TUESDAY Boulder Mountain and Hot springs. Head up the scenic Veideman Trail that brings us to the alpine cabin. From here we climb to the alpine meadows where you learn to safely negotiate steeper hills and drops and to side-hill. We return on the trails to Glacier House Resort just after lunch, board our van for a drive to the Arrow Lakes, where we cross by ferry and visit Halcyon Hot Springs. Return to Glacier House Resort for dinner.
WEDNESDAY Boulder Mountain/Jordan Valley. Sees us snowmobile to the Jordan Valley, where a river is flanked by sheer cliffs and forests on either side. Then we head for the alpine meadows and frozen lakes of Boulder Mt., where more alpine riding awaits. Known for its infamous Super Bowl and the sensational 150 horsepower cliffs of ‘Turbo’ Hill, there is a lot of alpine terrain to explore. A ride through the trees brings us back to the valley bottom, where we head back to the lodge.
THURSDAY BBQ on Frisby Ridge. Enjoy a morning off, then after lunch snowmobile to the alpine of Frisby Ridge for afternoon riding. A Steak or Salmon BBQ dinner is hosted in ‘Glacier Station,’ our cabin, at 6200 ft elevation. We return in the dark to Glacier House Resort.
FRIDAY Frisby Ridge/Boulder Mountain. This last day starts with the exploration of the forests of Frisby Ridge or Boulder Mountain before heading for the alpine. The afternoon is spent riding tress back to Glacier House Resort. Return at approximately 3.30pm.
