Head to One of America’s Leading Craft Cocktail Festivals

Travelers would be hard pressed to find a destination with more attractions and better weather than San Diego, California. The city is a foodie’s paradise with just about every type of cuisine. Visitors will love unique restaurants such as Carnita’s Snack Shack, Dao Fu, and Herringbone. Whether you're surfing and sunbathing on one of the many pristine beaches or playing the day away at Legoland, San Diego is perfect for your next vacation.

The San Diego Spirits Festival has been one of the leading cocktail festivals in America for nearly a decade, and it will take place August 26-27 at the Port Pavilion Broadway Pier. The event is an annual showcase of craft cocktails, premium liquors, and local culture, and it offers something for everyone from industry insiders to casual cocktail consumers. Patrons will have the opportunity to sample a variety of mixed drinks and spirits from some of the nation's leading producers. Attendees will also have the chance to listen to seminars by accomplished industry professionals to learn about new products, drinks, and trends. A bartender competition will highlight the skills of some of the Bay Area's top mixologists, and the spirits competition will determine the event’s top spirits. We got the chance to interview Liz Edwards, Founder and Director of the event, to learn more about this libation-themed spectacular.
