Before you head on out on the tour, the resort’s experienced guides will train you with the specialized equipment so you feel comfortable. The pre-flight Demo Zip lets you get the hang of it before the real ride. The guides will evaluate your performance to ensure you can safely complete the course, and they do reserve the right to turn anyone down for medical, safety or other reasons. To experience the ride, participants must be at least 10 years old, weigh between 50 and 260 pounds, and be between 4’ (48 inches) and 6’8” (82 inches) tall. Everyone must also sign a ZipTour Liability Release, and minors must have the release signed by a parent or guardian.
Once you’re given the go ahead, the real course is waiting for you. Fly above the tree canopy from the summit of Bear Peak over to mid-mountain Attitash, then down to the base of Attitash. You’ll be reaching heights of 250 feet off the ground on this incredible tour, and the trip down from Bear Peak’s Flying Bear Zip over to Attitash Mountain is nearly a mile, making it the longest single zipline span in not only New Hampshire, but the entire East! At Attitash, you’ll fly from the Attitash Aerial Zip from upper Thad’s Choice down to the base of the mountain, which is a trip of over two thousand feet. Plus, since both the Flying Bear and Attitash Aerial zips feature two parallel cable lines, you don’t have to fly down alone.
