An Unmatched Rodeo Experience Under the Stars at the Caldwell Night Rodeo

Caldwell, Idaho, is a beautiful city of 50,000 people that is perched on the scenic banks of the Boise River. The city is quickly emerging as a food, wine and activity hub for the state, prefect  for your next vacation.

The city was founded in the 1880’s, 30 miles west of Boise, after people who came to the region in search of gold found other opportunities for farming and trading in the area where Caldwell now resides. You won't have any trouble finding fun things to do during your stay. The culinary scene here is vibrant and growing. There is a diverse assortment of restaurants featuring some of the best culinary talent in the region. Great restaurants to visit include Mr. V’s Family Restaurant, Horsewood’s, and The Orchard House. In and around Caldwell you’ll encounter many different vineyards and wineries producing a rich selection of unique vintages. These locations are ideal for anyone interested in wine tasting, making, and purchasing.  You’ll also encounter opportunities to tour the scenic vineyards. Caldwell is a community that loves to get together and celebrate with big community events like the Caldwell Night Rodeo.

Caldwell Night Rodeo (CNR) has been been providing entertainment for its patrons since before World War II. This rodeo is one of the best you’ll find in all of America. In fact, The Travel Channel ranked this rodeo No. 2 on their America's Biggest Rodeos list. At the rodeo you can expect a wide variety of professionally sanctioned events including bull riding, team roping, steer wrestling, bareback riding, and more. To add to the overall experience, there will be live music at the Coors Rowdy & Saloon and six different vendors serving up a variety food. CNR embodies a unique environment because the rodeo is an outdoor event held under the stars. Make your next Idaho getaway one you won't forget and head to the Caldwell Night Rodeo!
