A Waterfront Showcase of Baltimore’s Best Food and Drink

Baltimore rose to prominence as a regional trading and shipping hub during the late 18th Century. Today, the city’s notoriety comes from being one of the top destinations on the East Coast thanks to world-class museums, colonial architecture, trendy shops, and a cutting edge culinary scene. With activity and attraction-packed neighborhoods like Inner Harbor and Fells Point, your next Baltimore vacation may turn into an extended getaway.

The Baltimore Wine and Food Festival has been the city’s top culinary showcase for the past decade. This year’s event will take place May 6 at Rash Field, which is located directly on the waterfront in the Inner Harbor neighborhood. The event is intended to unite the city’s top culinary talent with Baltimore food lovers. Attendees will be able to sample culinary creations from a collection of the city’s best restaurants and food trucks. More than 150 beers, wines, and spirits will also be available to sample, and patrons will receive a complimentary souvenir glass. Proceeds from the event go to the Spirit of Hope Children’s Foundation, which provides support and education to children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. We got the chance to interview Mary Wallace, a representative of the event, to learn more about this showcase of Baltimore’s finest food and wine.
