Many cabins dot the coastal region of Oregon, ready to make your stay as scenic as a stay can be. Camping is available everywhere in the woods in the many secluded areas. The Oregon Coast provides endless fascination and fancy, with unnamed waterfalls and bounteous beaches to discover. The logging history of the region is rich and deserves a museum visit or two; it has contributed heavily to the shape of the landscape. Also, the sand dunes around Florence provide excellent dune-buggying or sandboarding.

Dine Here
In coastal Oregon, salmon and other seafood is some of the best you’ll find - internationally or at home. This is the freshest river salmon, and once they’re caught they make filets big enough to fill your backseat! Specialty cheeses are manufactured with mastery in Tillamook, so get there for your most severe, creamy cravings.

How to Get Here
Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, Eugene Airport, North Bend Airport, Rogue Valley International-Medfort Airport, and Portland International Airport are all possibilities. However, the most convenient route is most likely via Portland, and perhaps from there to North Bend Municipal to get to the southern coast.
Getting Around
This is rural charm we’re talking, so rent a car or burn around in your own. Or backpack! Buses are always a possibility, but the routes can be confusing along the rugged coastline. Either way, be sure to learn as much as you can about the roadways in the area before traveling too extensively.
