Four airlines now provide over 1,800 seats arriving each day from the hub cities of Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas-Fort Worth and more to Cherry Capital Airport. Cherry Capital Airport is conveniently located three miles from downtown and minutes from any of the hotel and resort properties. The major car rental agencies provide service at the airport for those persons wanting their own vehicle. Convenient taxi service or courtesy van transportation to certain properties are other options.
Driving: Take Interstate 131 N. Turn Left at M-113, then right at S M 37. Turn right at W 8th Street to get into Traverse City.
Getting Around
Bus lines serve Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties with both fixed route and Dial-A-Ride reservation service. You can also get around by cab, limo, shuttle and tour services, or by car.
