Kansas City is accessible from the north and south on I-35, and from the east and west on I-70. The Kansas City International Airport is located in the heart of the metro area.
Getting Around
If you’re driving, the interstate and road systems are easy to navigate. You can rent a car at the Kansas City International Airport, or at several locations throughout the city. There is a public bus system, as well as the new bus rapid transit line connects the River Market, Downtown, Crown Center and the Plaza. Taxi and car services are available throughout the city.
