How to Get Here
To get to the Central Coast area you will undoubtedly utilize US Highway 101 or the two-land Highway 1. Highway 101 is a much quicker way to get to the area you seek, but the much slower Highway 1 is one of the most beautiful drives around so you won’t mind the delay. Major airports include Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, Santa Maria Public Airport and San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport.
Getting Around
The best way to see the sights and get from place to place is by using your own vehicle or a rental car. Stunning sights are spread far and wide across this distinctive and diverse coastal area, so it’s best to have access to your own transportation. However, if you’re looking for a challenge, bring your bike and pedal your way down the stunningly beautiful Highway 101.
