Originally dubbed "sphereing," this activity has been around for major adventure seekers since the 1980s but was not patented for commercial use until 1994. And now the thrills can be had by all! Due to its overwhelming popularity in 2001 "zorb" was even added to the Concise Oxford English Dictionary where it was defined as "a sport in which a participant is secured inside an inner capsule in a large, transparent ball which is then rolled along the ground or down hills." Think of yourself as a human hamster, with less fur and more fun!
