Thousand Hills Golf Resort's course is known as Branson's most popular golf course for good reason. This 18-hole gem was rated 4-Stars by Golf Digest Magazine in 2009 and was voted Best of the Ozarks for Branson Golf Courses by the readers of the Springfield News-Leade.

If you hear a *plop* after you tee off at Ruttger's Bay, don't worry- its happened countless times over the years. The plop we refer to is, of course, your ball landing in a water hazard, something the 18 holes use as their foremost feature. Spread out over a hundred acres, you'll find unique and interesting dynamics and challenges on each hole. Just make sure you have plenty of extra balls on hand, though! If you need a break from golf, there are plenty of other ways to spend your time at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. Whether you're staying at Drummond for a family getaway, romantic escape, or anything else, take our advice and remember to bring your golf clubs- you won't regret it!

Why? Well, because of the award-winning course onsite: The Rock. This 18-hole championship course is carved out of 400 acres of hardwood, cedar, and limestone, and somehow manages to be both accessible for beginners and challenging for veterans. As you walk the course, the surrounding mature forests and wildlife will quickly have you repeating the saying around here- “we share the course with the deer.” The course, which opened in 1989, was designed by Harry Bowers and offers a challenge of up to 6,837 yards. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon!
