Our next Montana hunting lodge switches it up a bit – good news for those tired of tracking the same old game. In place of black bear and similar catches, J.M. Nansel Ranch Co. gives you the chance to lock a massive mule deer or Merriam’s turkey in your sights!

If you thought the trophy toms were substantial, wait until you lay eyes on what J.M. Nansel Ranch Co. has to offer in the way of hunting grounds. Unguided hunts on more than 25,000 acres of a working Montana ranch make this a lodge not for the faint of heart; experienced hunters and free spirits, on the other hand, are sure to be drawn in by J.M. Nansel Ranch Co.’s hands-on approach. The ranch’s hospitable staff is glad to offer tips, pointers and even topography maps, but when it comes to bringing down your game of choice – mule deer, antelope, game birds and more – that’s strictly in your hands – err, sights. At J.M. Nansel Ranch Co., a fast-growing antelope herd ensures that the lodge’s grueling five-day pronghorn hunts get even better with each passing year. And when it comes to the elusive Merriam’s turkey, this Montana ranch strictly limits the number of hunters to ensure you a better shot at that prize tom. With success rates at or near 100%, they must be doing something right!
