We felt like any Colorado luxury ski lodge worthy of the No. 2 spot should have a minimum of four features: a range of accommodations, an unforgettable dining experience, a world-class spa and a solid commitment to health and well-being. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa.
We thought that it might be difficult for a resort hotel with only 28 rooms to reflect its unpretentious yet refined mountain culture. Yet this is what we found at Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa: gorgeous hotel rooms and condos, plus family suites that manage to be warm, simple and luxurious all at the same time. The restaurant, Terra Bistro, provides the taste of Vail, too, with its organic local ingredients. And then there’s the spa. Signature Vail spa treatments are administered in any of 13 treatment rooms and the amazing solarium, and to top it off you can work out at the state-of-the-art Vail Health Club. Put it all together, and you have what you might call a Lifestyle Program - well, at Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa, that is what they call it. It’s an outdoor experience that blends fitness, classes, instruction and the outdoors for a Vail getaway that literally lasts a lifetime.
The Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa’s breathtaking two- and three-bedroom accommodations feature expansive modern kitchens, great rooms, master bedrooms and much more.
The Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa has been featured in more than two dozen publications including Time and Ski magazines, Men’s Journal and Conde Nast Traveler.

To start off, Vail Cascade bears the distinction of being Vail's only ski-in/ski-out, AAA Four-Diamond Colorado ski resort. Most people can relate to that; but it pales in comparison to this Vail resort’s status as an established landmark, carefully developed for more than two decades.
That’s plenty of time to build in all the luxuries: two heated outdoor pools, three hot tubs, facilities for tennis, racquetball, squash and volleyball and the largest fitness center in Vail to name a few. That last one would be the Aria Spa and Club, a stunning 78,000 square feet of luxury and wellness that includes a 10,000-square-foot spa. If you’re thinking about a Vail, Colorado hotel room or suite, you should be prepared for these. The interiors are so inviting that you almost - almost - forget to admire the spectacular mountain and courtyard views. Vail Cascade Condominiums combines a multi-million-dollar private condominium rental with all of the resort-style features and amenities. Or, you might choose an equally impressive private Vail vacation home. You simply can’t go wrong on your luxury Vail vacation!
Vail Cascade Resort is the home of Vail's most extensive meeting facilities, with 35,000 square feet of event space plus the newly-opened Atwater on Gore Creek restaurant.
From Denver International Airport, take I-70 West to Exit 176 (main Vail). At the end of the ramp, enter the roundabout and go to the left under the interstate. Enter the second roundabout and turn right onto South Frontage Road (toward Lionshead). The resort is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
Welcome to Beaver Creek - and welcome to a truly spectacular Colorado resort. We’ve always known it was a myth that Colorado AAA Four Diamond properties don’t exist outside of Vail or Aspen. One look at this masterful all-suite luxury boutique hotel and we know you’ll agree.
Did we mention that Beaver Creek Lodge is the only all-suite luxury hotel in Beaver Creek? For you, that means a Vail Valley family vacation you’ll never forget. There’s a climbing wall and an 18-hole miniature golf course - great practice for the nine fantastic golf courses in the immediate area. Beaver Creek Lodge is located in a charming pedestrian village, for excellent Colorado shopping and dining. This is in addition to the pool, sauna and steam room. The hotel itself looks large from the outside, but inside there are only 72 suites - can you say spacious? - with gas fireplaces, Nintendo and “mountain-chic” décor. Or, you can always go for the three-bedroom condominiums with gourmet kitchens, master bedrooms and in-room whirlpools. Did we mention it’s luxurious?
Among many other eco-initiatives, Beaver Creek Lodge combines energy-efficient fluorescent bulbs and the use of turbine-driven wind power to operate the hotel.

We couldn’t figure out if The Gant Aspen is a resort or a condominium hotel. After careful consideration, we decided that that’s probably the point - all the luxury of a private condo with the services of a hotel. We also decided that whatever it is, it’s one heck of an Aspen vacation.
The Gant Aspen features Aspen condominiums with up to four bedrooms, not to mention fully-equipped kitchens and wood burning fireplaces that seem to put the finishing touch on your Aspen mountain experience. Like a first-class Aspen hotel, it also has a concierge, a full-service front desk, bell service and daily housekeeping. And like an Aspen resort, it offers two outdoor pools, three outdoor hot tubs, a fitness center, sauna and private tennis courts. This is all located at the foot of Aspen Mountain, just moments in either direction from the heart of downtown Aspen and four world-class mountains for Aspen ski vacations. You’ll find that The Gant Aspen’s ski storage, overnight ski tuning and even skiing and snowboarding lessons will really come in handy!

Lots of people in the Vail area have heard of Tivoli Lodge, but not necessarily the Tivoli Lodge that’s now making Vail vacations extra-luxurious. The classic landmark is back, rebuilt and better than ever for Vail skiing, adventure, golf and family getaways.
The new Tivoli Lodge has a European style that’s warm and stunning at the same time. This applies to any of its varied accommodations - guest rooms, octagonal tower rooms, a grand Village Tower Room and more. The small but spectacular Seibert Suite featuring a Swedish walk-in shower with body-spray jets, a soaking tub and Turkish bath towels and robes plus panoramic views that remind you partly why you came here in the first place: the Gore Range, Golden Peak and Vail Mountain are all on display. In all, Tivoli Lodge provides every amenity of a luxury Vail resort - a fully-equipped fitness room, two outdoor hot tubs and both outdoor activities and Vail Village shopping just moments away - at the price of a Vail boutique hotel. This is the new Tivoli Lodge, and it’s a fantastic Vail getaway!

Perhaps you’ve heard rumors of how chic and fashionable Aspen is. The Little Nell encapsulates that in one 92-room luxury resort. The Little Nell makes the claim of being the only ski-in/ski-out property in Aspen (!). And you’ll soon find that this is just the beginning of your Aspen vacation.
Take the specialty suites, for example: with up to 2,500 square feet of space, they are more like vacation homes within the resort. The Paepcke Suite alone features a living room with gas log fireplace, a premium full-service wet bar, a dining room, an office, a media area and more. That’s not including the range of Aspen accommodations that more closely resemble a hotel room, although none of them could be described in such simple terms. There’s also a fine dining restaurant, Mantegna’s, plus The Tavern which features regular live entertainment. Oh, and a luxury spa and fitness center where you can schedule a personal trainer. And a staff with the motto, “If you want it, we’ll make it happen.” We know what does happen at The Little Nell - an unforgettable Aspen vacation.
