For a Park City vacation that goes beyond ordinary, you’re in need of luxury lodging that is equally extraordinary. We think the Stein Eriksen Lodge, with its welcoming blend of Park City charm, modern comfort and mountain ambiance, more than fits the bill when it comes to extravagant lodging on your Utah vacation.
But don’t let the lodge’s sleek exterior fool you; there’s so much more waiting to be discovered at this Norse-inspired lodge. In fact, the lodge’s namesake – Olympic gold medalist Stein Eriksen – envisioned exactly such a place when he first dreamt of one day building Park City’s premier luxury hotel on the slopes of the Wasatch Mountain range. The only Utah lodge to boast prestigious five-star, five-diamond accommodations, we deem this Park City mountain lodge a rousing success for Mr. Eriksen and a winning combination for your Park City vacation. The eternal overachiever, Stein Eriksen Lodge wasn’t content to just be the best when it came to luxury lodging or prime mountainside location. This topnotch Park City vacation spot took its reputation to new heights with the exclusive Spa at Stein Eriksen. Offering healing wraps, deep tissue massage and head-to-toe pampering in a luxurious 20,000-sq.-ft. space, this premier Park City spa even carries skin products that counteract the drying effects of high altitude. The signature Nordic Princess and Norseman treatments will leave you feeling like Park City royalty – or just fit to rule the Wasatch Mountain slopes.

Park City is famous for its year-round recreation, but the resort in our No. 2 spot really shines in the summertime. Then again, with not one, but four world-class signature Canyon hotels to choose from, it doesn’t really matter which you choose or even what season you stay in; your memorable Park City vacation practically plans itself!
The Canyons Resort Village somehow manages to offer accommodations that are as diverse as the Park City scenery and attractions that surround them. Like the Canyons Grand Summit Hotel, a luxurious blend of beautiful design, convenient ski-in/ski-out location and impeccable service. The Silverado and Sundial lodges, with their four-season outdoor pools and upscale condo-like suites. Or, the all-suite Escala Lodges, the newest and easily the most luxurious of the four, with its old world charm and world-class amenities that represent the peak of luxury Park City living. You’ll find a wide range of summer attractions in Park City, but the most exhilarating Utah recreation can be found at the Canyons Resort Village. Those with a fear of heights beware; most of these alpine adventures begin at 8,000 ft. above sea level. Flight of the Canyons gondola tours are scenic introductions to Park City mountain recreation, while the Canyon’s alpine disc golf course is a unique twist on a traditional summer pastime.
