It doesn’t get any closer to the water than this – the Vancouver hotel that earned our No. 1 spot is literally located atop a pier overlooking the deep blue water’s of the city’s waterfront. We think the magnificent harbour, skyline and mountain views offered by the Pan Pacific are perfect for anyone looking for change of scenery on their Vancouver vacation.

While the views are impressive, there’s so much more Vancouver to discover when you stay at the Pan Pacific. We recommend starting with Gastown, the birthplace of Vancouver. Here, you can stroll the original cobblestone streets, peruse the goods displayed in historic buildings turned boutiques and take part in international music festivals, classic car shows and an enticing nightlife scene. But why limit yourself to just one city when there’s a whole world out there just waiting to be explored? Vancouver’s cruise ship terminal is just steps from the Pan Pacific’s doors and includes the spectacular Vancouver-Alaska cruise, one of the world’s most popular cruises! We admire the Pan Pacific for its versatility. From contemporary Royal and Pacific Suites that cater to discerning business or leisure travelers to the Cascades Lounge that’s relaxed enough for family dining, this waterfront Vancouver luxury hotel somehow manages to offer something for everyone. The secret to the Pan Pacific’s success seems to be its customized packages – a blend of the best Vancouver attractions and luxury accommodations with generous discounts and added savings.

Vancouver natives don’t have to miss out on the fun. The Pan Pacific offers special packages tailored to those who are lucky enough to enjoy this delightful Canadian city year-round.

Tucked away between the mountains and the sea, the Four Seasons Hotel offers a sampling of both borders on your Vancouver vacation. From lofty vaulted ceilings to ocean-inspired cuisine, you’ll be treated to a world of pleasures both above and below on your British Columbia vacation.

Your tour of Vancouver’s borders begins in the Four Seasons Hotel’s signature YEW restaurant + bar. From vaulted ceilings that scrape the sky to a floor-to-ceiling sandstone fireplace that graces the restaurant walls, this distinctive dining experience is a feast for the eyes. Your palate will be more than pleased when you sample the assortment of gastronomic delights served here, from the finest fish selections at the raw bar to custom sandwiches at the Panini bar. We were impressed with the unbelievable amount of space, not to mention style, enjoyed in our Fairmont suite. Sure enough, someone else took measure and the Four Seasons accommodations are some of Vancouver’s largest! But space is nothing without substance, and fortunately, the Four Seasons has been generous when outfitting these stylish suites. Appointed with a diverse mix of design elements like frosted glass French doors, overstuffed armchairs and sleek bedside tables topped with stacked glass lamps, these look little like standard hotel suites and more like glossy magazine pages.
