Relax in sophisticated style and indulge in island luxury at the Aurora Hotel and Spa. Bed and breakfast hospitality meets the upscale amenities of a metropolitan hotel inside this sleek L.A. retreat, while exciting land and aquatic adventures on Catalina Island beckon from outside.
Nothing says “Southern California” like Aurora Hotel and Spa’s rooftop deck oasis, with breathtaking views of Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean. Unless it’s coastal-inspired pottery, photography and paintings – handcrafted by local artists and showcased in the common spaces at the Aurora. Explore the island with glass bottom boat tours that reveal the exotic marine life that waits below the deep blue waters or indulge in a soothing blend of Swedish, deep tissue and Reiki massage styles with Aurora’s signature Mermaid’s Kiss at the onsite spa.
The Aurora’s stunning rooms are appointed with modern furnishings and inspired by the Pacific Ocean and other California treasures. Patterns on the chocolate- and teal-colored textiles mimic waves crashing on the Catalina shores, while custom bath products draw from the pomegranate and citrus fruits that grow nearby. And Junior Suites feature plush sectional sofas, flat screen TVs and platform beds – Zen with a modern twist. Of course, luxury amenities like these come with an upscale price, but if you ask us, the Aurora is worth every penny!
